And Now for Mark’s Day in the Lap of Luxury

I think I spoke too soon. Mark had a memorable day and one he might just want to repeat every day for the rest of his life, lol. He left for golf about 10:30am and rolled in about 4:00pm after a windy and strenuous day off the tips followed by an amazing lunch at a quite spectacular (so I’m told, once by our driver to this hotel and then affirmed by Mark) restaurant beside crashing waves. It was a perfect water day yesterday, sailboats were out and the pool (infinity, of course) was packed by amazingly tan humans – I am a beacon of pallor. Anyway back to Mark, wind burned and stuffed to the gills on octopus (yes, he ate it) followed by a six pound sea bass deboned tableside and shared by all with lots of wine to make certain the lunch was perfection, he arrived home well sated and HAPPY. Whoops, forgot to mention the Bentley, yes he was chauffered around in a Bentley owned by the Brazilian horsebreeder (owner of a recent Breeders Cup winner) who too is a new resident of Portugal and a charming generous host. All in all, a bloody good day!
