First and foremost, this is a blog about travelling and creating a new life, not politics. There are times though that you lose a person you respect and admire above all others and so, that day must not be ignored. Today is that day. I make no secret that I want to be her, in my head, in my heart, in my mind. I am sad today, terrribly, awfully sad.
And now to the day at hand, we are off on our first drive out of our immediate surrounds.
We’re off on a different kind of driving adventure today and no doubt, will come home with pictures to add to this post. We had our first windy rains yesterday. The rain is gone but the wind remains so a roiling ocean calls to us.
